The only thing constant is change…
“I know I need to make a change, but I just can’t seem to get motivated.”
I hear this a lot. And I get it—change is hard. Motivation is fickle. Life is heavy.
But here’s what I’ve learned, both in my own life and with my clients: You don’t have to feel ready to begin. You just have to begin. Motivation may get you started, but it’s dedication—the quiet, consistent choice to show up—that carries you forward.
I started this year with an intention – word or phrase that acts as a gentle guide. This year, mine is “change.” It sounds bold, but it’s really about small, steady shifts. One drawer. One habit. One mindset.
I still carry with me last year’s phrases: “Live lightly.” It reminds me to loosen my grip. To breathe. To release what weighs me down—physically, emotionally, mentally. To welcome what’s next with openness instead of fear.
That’s where the magic happens. When we choose to change something, even slightly, we allow for something else to change too. The ripple begins.
So if you find yourself stuck—overwhelmed by the clutter, the calendar, the mental load—let’s talk. You don’t need to feel motivated. Just decide to show up. I’ll meet you there with encouragement, practical help, and a soft place to land.
Let’s dedicate ourselves to living lightly and embracing change—one brave, simple step at a time.
