What does abundance look like to you?
Joshua Becker defines abundance as “having a full life with what matters most.” If that’s true, then we must first consider what matters most to us.
One of my clients loves to read. During one of our sessions, she told me she wants to be surrounded by her books. They bring her comfort, and she values what they represent.
Right now, many of those books are packed away in boxes, waiting to find their “homes.” So our goal is simple: find a few beautiful bookcases for her living room and fill them with the books she loves so they can once again bring her joy.
I have another client who values hospitality. She longs to have people over for dinner again. But after several illnesses over the past few years, her living space became difficult to manage. She feels isolated and ashamed of the clutter and disorganization that slowly accumulated in what was once a very tidy and welcoming home.
Together, we are working to reclaim her living and dining rooms so she can return to what brings her joy—gathering around the table with friends and family.
What does abundance look like for you?
When you picture yourself taking a deep sigh of satisfaction and contentment, what do you see?
What are you doing?
Who are you with?
What surrounds you?
I am taking the time to figure out what truly matters to me—what I value in this stage of life and what abundance genuinely looks like for me.
I hope you’ll take the time to discover that for yourself, too.
This wraps up my three-part series – thanks for reading!
